Ari Bell

Set Design and Supertitling

Ari Bell is a landscape designer, singer, and theater-maker based in Seattle, Washington, and raised in the suburbs of Chicago. Their background includes devising theater as a student at Vassar College, supporting opera productions at The Juilliard School, and researching the intersection of theater and landscape architecture. Other interests include the design of amusement park landscapes, landscape strategies to support Alaskan communities built on permafrost, and making cute fluffy creatures. While studying at The University of Virginia, they were assistant set designer for The Trip to Bountiful at Live Arts. Here in Seattle, Ari works as a landscape designer at Berger Partnership, sings with the cantorei of Blessed Sacrament Church, and volunteers with Annex Theatre. In their free time, you can find Ari gawking at cool plants. Ari is delighted to be collaborating with Lowbrow Opera Collective.
